"Just as advertised! Hiked Rams Head trail one morning from the property. It was nice staying on the east side for a couple of nights to hit up salt pond and Lameshurs. Loved that we could use the refrigerator and they provided drinking water. They have a great set up and provide a lot of extras like beach chairs and charged battery packs so that we could charge our cell phones at night! Thank you!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here, you WILL need to rent a car (ideally one with 4WD/AWD) to get around the island, so keep that in mind. The family that runs the place is super cool and helpful. "A welcome relief after an unanticipated start, Avis (STT) gave our Jeep away. With our free-wheeling plans dashed, we had to use taxis. In the unit was a list of Taxi contacts along with other useful info. All the taxi drivers we contacted were very helpful, especially Moses. The unit was delightfully quaint and very clean. "Happy Place was wonderful. The home is newer, nicely landscaped, and well appointed with Kitchen-Aid appliances and quality dish-ware. With the pull-out sofa, it worked well for our family of four. It’s a short drive to a nearby grocery, the ferry landing, and Cruz Bay shops and restaurants. Parking is ample for both units, which is a huge plus on the Island. "The rooms were very spacious and clean. I was impressed when I saw a small sewing kit in the bathroom. Everyone was friendly. Especially Jessie at the restaurant. Hotel was also very close to the ferry terminal and it was a quick walk to the hotel. I absolutely love it there and I will be back"
