4/10 Poor

"I do not recommend this hotel, especially to anyone needing care at the hospital! I booked my room for 4 nights as I was having foot surgery at the nearby hospital and needed to stay in the area in case of any complications. My main complaints: The advertised hotel shuttle that will bring you anywhere within 3 miles does not in fact exist. I asked for a wakeup call at 5am the next morning so I would not miss my early surgery. I fortunately woke up on my own because the wake-up call never came. I raced to make coffee as I only had 20 minutes left to drink liquids. The coffee machine in my room did not work. Shortly after, when I, limping and carrying my crutches, asked the front desk for a taxi to get to the hospital, I was told "I'll try, but they won't come because it takes them 10 mins to get here and it's not worth their time." So, my only option was to WALK to the hospital across busy 2 highway on and off-ramps and through a 2 busy intersections at morning rush-hour, on my foot which was already in great pain (hence the needed surgery.) Back in my room, after surgery, the phone rang at 5pm: my 'wake-up call'! The tub would not hold water so I was unable to properly bathe for the whole 4 days. The ceiling in the clothes closet steadily leaked water (?) onto the floor throughout the visit. Lastly, if you get a balcony room, just be aware that your neighbors might hang out on their balcony smoking cigarettes and marijuana the whole time."

"Breakfast was a farce. No milk for cold cereal. No hot water for tea. The waffle maker was a mess with gobbs of waffle not fully cooked and all over the counter. On Saturday morning there was two young boys that really made a mess of it and had no idea what they were doing. People were wasting disposable bowls and cups. One middle aged couple had 10 cups on their table. Very disappointing. We sat there for over 30 minutes looking for someone to come in and make things right. It didn't happen."
