Found Hotel Boston Common

78 Charles Street South, Boston - Map
"Good value for the price."
The appearance of this hotel is underwhelming but, while basic, it is comfortable, well located, and welcoming. The free breakfast is a bonus. The bed was comfortable and the temperature of the room easy to adjust. It was very clean. The one quibble I had was that, for some reason, the hot water cut off before I had finished my shower. I would certainly stay here again and the price was very reasonable for Boston.

Boston Common Hotel

40 Trinity Place, Boston - Map
"Great location, adequate accommodation"
This hotel has a great location close to Trinity Church and two different subway stops, and only a few minutes walk to Boston Commons. The room was perfectly adequate, although the bathroom was very old and tired looking, and the entire place is badly in need of updating. However, who cares? It was reasonably priced and the location was great. The Wi-Fi only works in the lobby.

"Perfect Get Away"
This was a fabulous location, right on Commonwealth Avenue and within easy walking distance to many attractions. Staff was very pleasant, accommodations were wonderful. We really enjoyed learning about the history of the building and the Club. We stayed on the 4th floor with a private bathroom - room was huge, bright and clean. The free coffee available 24 hours was great, especially after walking in the February cold. Homemade cookies in the afternoon was a nice touch. We were only sorry that we were staying for one night, looking forward to coming back again.

"Friendly staff and a great location"
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was central for our purposes, close to public transportation and many great restaurants. The room was small but efficient. The bathroom was small and just so-so in terms of water pressure, space for toiletries, towels (small and scratchy). For the price, I am guessing we are paying more for the location than some of the comforts. Free hot beverages in the lobby which was bright and sunny, nice for sitting while waiting or with a cup of coffee.

I have stayed here twice, first in summer and second in winter. Quite, great lake view (especially during summer), convenient location (right next to I-95), clean rooms. I would come back again if I have a chance.
