Boston Common Hotel

"Affordable hotel within walking distance"
The Boston Common Hotel was the most reasonable priced hotel in the city (and I think I actually got a sale on it). It's close to the T and not too bad of a walk to the gardens. The staff there is EXCELLENT. The hotel itself is outdated and the bed is pretty standard and comparable to a dorm room. Amenities are slim; not even a gym. If you're just there to sleep, it will save you some money!

"Great Hotel, Close to Airport (BOS)"
Very friendly staff, I was very happy to see such a nice big room with no carpets! I slept like a baby and will be happy to return again if and when I pass by.

"Ok for the price"
I got a good deal so this was my choice. The building had a musty smell that was irritating. Staff at the front desk did not seem to know anything about the area. The room was clean. The continental breakfast was actually quite good. One staff member in dining area was extremely hateful - kept arguing with patrons about "rules" in the dining area. Very rude, unpleasant and down right mean. Not what you want or expect at 7am after just waking up. Food at the bar was good. However bar area appeared short-staffed.

"close to everything"
Location for price is nice... Room was nice, big picture window, comfortable bed... They may or may not classify as a boutique hotel but I felt that it was a nice boutique hotel. I didn't interact with the staff much but it was pleasant and cordial when the did. Definitely would recommend this others.

"Very clean, comfortable and quiet...great location"
Room 11 was perfect for one; high ceilings, big window and small but well appointed bath. A great reprieve from the $400* hotels in every direction. The receptionist was friendly and extremely helpful. I would go back any time

"It was okay!"
My check-in was quick and simple. The room originally booked for me was not ready by the time I got there, but it wasn't a problem. The front desk changed my room to one clean and available, which was super nice of her. The room was comfortable on the other side of the motel away from the traffic. The bed was comfortable and clean. Passed out for about nine hours after taking a bath. Beware of tub if you're 5'7" and over. My legs just made the length of the tub so it was a little cramped, but still a nice bath nonetheless. There was someone with an annoying dog that barked occasionally but nothing too disturbing. I did purchase the wi-fi service. It was okay for what it was. The signal was super weak for the premium price they charge. If I stay here again, I will forgo the wi-fi, and opt to use the hot spot on my phone. There were a few spider sightings nothing I couldn't handle with some tissue and flush of the toilet. Overall for my two night stay, I can't complain.
