"We have been visiting Duluth for several years where our son, his wife, and girls now reside. In the early years we stayed in downtown hotels. After a few years we switched to VRBOs on Lake Superior. The PumpHouse had not available during the Heck of the North weekend until this year. From my perspective, someone who grew up on the water in Maine and a real estate broker who has been selling Maine waterfront properties for decades, the PumpHouse is the most amazing property/location I have ever seen and enjoyed. If it ever came up for sale, I would be a very interested buyer. And I am so happy it is a VRBO, so others get to enjoy it like we did. The history of the house is so fascinating. I feel honored to have been apart of the story."

"Setting of property is breathtaking! Nestled in a hill on acreage in wooded area about a mile off of Highway 61. Loren, the owner, was very accommodating and answered all of our questions quickly. The house is well-equipped and very clean. Our group of seven girlfriends had a very enjoyable stay and will be coming back next year."
