We liked the room, the hot tub and the restaurant. I would have liked a room service option since the restaurant was on site. We were frustrated that we only found one ice machine for all 3 floors, there should be more options.
Facility was neat and clean and employees were friendly.
The only complaints I had was that the restaurant was not open for breakfast while we were there and there was no microwaves in the room.
View was amazing, outdoor games etc were really nice and area was calm and relaxing.
This is an older facility but very well kept and clean! Friendly staff and the views were wonderful! Sitting out on the beach on Lake Superior with a evening fire- couldn’t get any better
The property and the room was clean, the staff was friendly and responsive and the beach, fire pits, smore stations, pool, sauna and hot tub were awesome for the family. It looked like an early 80s build so some things aren't super modern but that didn't matter to us. We had a great time.
Loved the choice of indoor or outdoor pools and hot tubs. Disappointed that indoor/outdoor pool was broken and restaurant patio shut down. Breakfast would have been nice. Nice stay though

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The hot tub outside was nice…steaming hot water with jacuzzi..staff was very polite and helpful..room was clean..the private beach was also superbly scenic and we witnessed a beautiful sunrise from there.
The only problem I faced was when I booked the classic room from Expedia they said the room has microwave in it ,was mentioned in room amenities also..but there was NO MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM.That was a problem because their restaurant also doesn’t open in the morning to have breakfast on Monday morning ..so my kids were really hungry in the morning but the staff was very helpful they warmed our breakfast in their microwave…

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We were only there 1 night. The check in was efficient and the lobby had complimentary beverages. The building & rooms seem to need a bit of updating. The restaurant looked newly remodeled & possibly still in progress due to the construction wrap over the windows that would overlook the shoreline. There were two menus one for the bar and another for the dining area. We clearly missed that, but would recommend less expensive menu items. The dining menu was more upscale, but the service and food were very disappointing.
The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. We happened to arrive on the weekend that wildfires broke out in the area. The staff did their best to keep us updated and were very kind. Although we had to cut our trip short due to the fires, we will definitely go back to Superior Shores if we have the opportunity. Beautiful and peaceful place with wonderful staff! Thank you!
We had a great stay and enjoyed beachfront access and outdoor firepit. In room whirlpool was a nice bonus. Enjoyed watching the northern lights from the bay.
The resort is dated but there are clearly multiple renovation projects going on. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming, with an assortment of activities to do.
Our weekend snowmobile trip in Two Harbors. Superior Shores was perfect for our group. The condo was very nice, well appointed, and a great location. The only issue was the elevator was down the entire weekend and of course we were on the top floor. Otherwise, we enjoyed are stay, the views and the outdoor hot tub. A shout out to the book club ladies!
The location was great!
The lodge has a cozy, homey kind of feel. The staff were very nice and we even got to check in a little early.
The restaurant on site was very good and we didn’t need a reservation
