"My experience at this hotel was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. "I booked White shark backpackers when I arrived there the owner told me that she didn't received my booking and end up sending me to her husband guest house called Gansbaai backpackers 😔. I was very disappointed about the room. The linen sticks(cigarette) , no lock for the door. No cleaner( helper). "On our way to Melissa's we were informed that the location changed as the advertised holiday location was no longer in use. We were directed to another location in Strand that did not have a garden/swimming pool or any view. It looked like a half way completed flat with small living quarters.
