#### Highly Recommend

Exclusive quiet area close to Stellenbosch, very helpful owner especially on the local wine estates and private off road parking. Stellenbosch has a lively centre with many good restaurants.

PENELOPE’S ist ein perfekter Ort, den man jedem ans Herz legen kann. Die Zimmer sind ausgestattet mit allen Annehmlichkeiten und sehr guten Betten. Dazu bietet es noch einen Pool, sicheren Parkplatz und sehr buntes und liebevolles Frühstück. Die Zimmer haben einen Balkon und schöne Aussicht auf die Berge. Das gesamte Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und man frühstückt unter Weinreben. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und bietet viele Möglichkeiten und eine belebte Innenstadt. Stellenbosch ist eine junge Universitätsstadt mit vielen hochwertigen Restaurants und Weingütern in der Nähe. Penelope kümmert sich herzlich um ihre Gäste und gibt gerne Tipps. Es ist eine Freude in ihrem Haus Gast zu sein.

Séjour de deux nuits très agréable. Dès notre arrivée nous nous sommes sentis dans un lieu paisible et très bien entretenu. Idéal pour se reposer et découvrir la région de Stellenbosch. Das Pool ist top, da kann man echt schwimmen! Ansonsten alles nett und sauber, loadshedding wird mit Stromspeichern überbrückt. Hier gibt es nichts zu meckern.

Penelope’s guesthouse is in an ideal location for visiting Stellenbosch and the surrounding wine region. It is a fantastic place to stay. Great room and lovely hostess. The house is beautifully furnished and spotless. Penny made us welcome from the time we arrived until we left, nothing was to much trouble for her. She gave my wife and I lots of advice on places to visit. We will definitely return next time we are in the Western Cape.

#### Bien mais cher et sans charme

C'est une maison conçue pour être une guesthouse, avec 4 chambres plus ou moins identiques a l’étage. C'est confortable mais sans charme. Et la maison est située dans un quartier banal en périphérie de Stellenbosch. Par ailleurs, j'ai du payer en espèce, notre hôte ne prenant pas la carte de crédit pour des raisons de coût. Pour 115 Euros la nuit, je m'attendais a nettement mieux (et nous avons eu pendant notre séjour des guesthouse largement supérieure pour moins cher, y compris a Cape Town)

#### Penelope's Guest House - a MUST in Stellenbosche!

Penelope was LOVE, one of the best hosts, ever! She made our stay feel like home. The place is very cozy and comfortable, well maintained in a quiet area so we were able to relax on our vacation just as we should. Breakfast was lovely too. The guest house is accessible via uber and very near the University area as well as other nearby wineries and vineyards. We will definitely come back! I recommend this for groups as well so you can rent the entire guest house for yourselves!

#### Peaceful paradise with lovely garden and pool!

We are really satisfied with our stay at this charming place. The owners were so welcoming and nice and the place was so Peaceful, with a blooming garden to have breakfast in, and a pool big enough to swim in. The room was even nicer than the pictures described! Highly recommended.

#### Nice guest house with friendly people :)

the rooms where nice and the people re extremely friendly. I recommend this hotel to anyone that wants more homely experience. If you need some good advice ask the lady to help you for sure you wont regret :)

Aside from the first class accommodations and breakfast, a real treat was Penelope herself. She was warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, and a guenuinely delightful person. The beautiful gardens and fresh cut flowers in the room made yu feel like you were in an oasis. Thank you Penelope for a wonderful stay.

#### Gem of a guest house

Three of us spent five nights at Penelope's Guesthouse while attending a conference. The rooms were great - fluffy towels, big beds and crisp sheets. Extra attention to detail including fresh flowers every day, a treat on your pillow and a Nespresso machine in each room were added bonuses. The breakfasts were delicious, with Penelope going out of her way to accommodate an early start. We also appreciated Penelope's advice on where to eat in town and how to get to various places. The Guesthouse is not situated within Stellenbosch itself, but rather in the outlying suburbs. This would be a challenge if you did not have a car - but it worked for us and meant the rooms were quiet. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this Guest house to others.

#### Ein bißchen wie nach Hause kommen...

Wir hatten während unserer Rundreise durch das Western Cape ursprünglich nur eine Nacht in Penelope's Guesthouse gebucht. Da wir uns aber auf Anhieb dort so wohl gefühlt haben, haben wir um eine weitere Nacht verlängert und die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin kümmert sich rührend um sämtliche Belange -ob Tipps zu Ausflügen, Austausch zu Land und Leuten oder die Sorge für das leibliche Wohl. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen!
