"Afton Hotel was a very pleasant surprise - the cleanest hotel I have been in in Eastbourne for the last three years. Staff were great - very obliging and friendly. Food was delicious - especially the “full English” breakfast. I didn’t quite understand why the Continental breakfast was the same price (‘£10) as the full English - shouldn’t it be less ? The Aftor is very good value. I will definitely stay here again when I am in this area."

Caravan changed 10 hours before arrival due to boiler breakdown but original property was occupied. Only 5 beds when 6 berth had been booked. Extra charge for dogs. Extra charge for use of pool and entertainment. Frankie’s food van on seafront was excellent. "

"For a budget stay The Oyo Marine Parade was not bad at all. The room was a small double but had an en-suite and was clean & tidy. The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble.
