"Beautiful resort!"
We're in our early 30's, first time at an all-inclusive. We loved the Sian Ka'an resort, especially since we were able to use the facilities at the 3 sister-properties (including restaurants and unlimited a la carte dinners). We wanted to spend most of our time at the beach, and did find it hard to locate chairs in the exclusive section. Not a big deal because if you walk just a bit, you come to the adjoining Coba beach area, which does not have "whales" obstructing the view, and a pretty rock-free swimming area, so we preferred this section. We loved the food here- we tried the buffets at the other 3 for lunch, but think the food, drinks, and service are a little higher quality at Sian Ka'an. We loved the restaurants Maiko, Don Pablo, and Alux (best meal of the trip!). We had fun sitting in the lobby bar before dinner- the drinks are especially good there! The evening entertainment was enjoyable- just ask for a weekly sched. at the front desk, and you can know what's going on at all the resorts. We loved the Michael Jackson and Acrodance shows! We got the basic room, air conditioning worked very well, everything was clean, no complaints. Overall, we loved this resort, and would definitely stay here again. All the employees were so friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs, which makes for a better guest experience! A++++!

"Fantastic on Every Level"
My boyfriend and I just returned yesterday from a few days at the Grand Bahia Principe Coba where we had the BEST time. Everything about our stay was perfect. I had requested a room on the top floor in building 27, the resort made sure they accommodated my request and the location of the room couldn't have been more perfect. Close to everything (lobby, restaurants, buffet, pool) yet so quiet. The grounds of the resort are absolutely stunning. We saw tons of iguanas, coatis and racoons! The pools are gorgeous, and the beach (which is a 5 minute walk or a 2 minute shuttle ride away) is one of the nicest I've ever seen. The staff at the resort was just awesome. They go out of their way to get you what you need and accommodate any request you might have, always with a smile. We really felt like we were treated like royalty. We loved having access to the other 2 resorts (Tulum and Akumal.) We spent some time at all 3 resorts and each of them was equally beautiful. The only minor criticism we had is that the buffet food wasn't always great, which is often the case in all-inclusive resorts. Pretty bland at times, but then again the buffets are huge and there are so many options that you can always find something you like. The drinks were great, you couldn't walk anywhere without being handed a cocktail or a mimosa for breakfast, it was fantastic! All in all a fabulous vacation, and we gave already decided we will be back next year :) Can't recommend it enough!

"Large, beautiful complex"
Easy check-in, clean and comfortable room, beautiful pools and grounds, good food, friendly and accommodating staff. Only thing that could be improved on is tiny toy-sized safe in the room that will not hold even a small tablet, and free wifi limited to a one hour session (timed from log-in) in the lobby. Best buffet of the 6 AI's we have been too. Good for families, would prefer an adult's only for couples as MANY tired and crying children in the restaurants. Very good price for the size/beauty of the facilities.

"Beautiful and peaceful oasis by the water"
I'd read some critical comments just before our trip and was worried. We loved this resort. Our door opened onto a spectacular beach steps away from snorkelling. I had daily exhilarating laps in the infinity pool - one of many pools available for guests. The staff was exceptional in their eagerness to be helpful. Food was varied and great. This is a smaller resort and calm and beautiful. Be sure to stay at the Grand Oasis Tulum - not the Oasis Tulum section since some of the people there are understandably disappointed about more limited access to the amenities.

"Spectacular sea view"
Booked 2 bedroom 2 bath 2nd floor villa 203. Awe inspiring view with huge terrace. Roomy. Beds were fine. Needed more pillows and lightblanket. Need beach shoes for sure and own snorkel gear. Very quiet almost too quiet!! No music outdoors and no music in villa. No entertainment. Bar lacking..expensive and no atmosphere. Breakfast limited and omelettes were $7. 00. View from breakfast area amazing. Lots of stairs. Easy access to all around Tulum, Gran cenote, Akumal beach snorkel with turtles. Saw a mantra ray. Friendly staff. English limited which causes some mistakes like room service. Felt secure. Could use a real hammock! Basic kitchen supplies. No washer dryer.

"Lovely family friendly hotel"
From the moment we arrived to checkout, the staff could not hae been more helpful, welcoming and friendly. This is not a huge complex but big enough to be able to find some quiet corner. Being all inclusive takes away the need for cash in the pocket or worrying about the budget. Sometimes this formula cuts corners but in the case of this hotel, the quality was always good. Entertainment, be it sporting or artistic is carried out by a talented staff who are committed to providing the guests with the best they can offer. We were there on Valentine's night, had a special menu dinner with virtuoso violin and guitar accompaniment, followed by a romantic rendition of love songs at the top of the beach. The same exponents were to be seen the next day doing water gym, fun games and volleyball! The name of the hotel is Peacock in English - the colour scheme reflected this and the whole complex is tastefully set out with nice gardens and fountains. A hotel to be recommended!
