“It was a fabulous resort!”

I thought it was very beautiful with immaculately groomed grounds and gardens, and the surprise of a great pool for rescued seals in the grounds. The pool and hot tub area were lovely, the workout room adequate, and I had a room right on the water at the marina by the steamboats. Bikes and kayaks available also. and even in the cool winter weather, the staff put the pads out on the beach cabanas. wish I would have been there in the summer for the beach. Two blocks from the ocean, too, and across the street from a lovely park.

“Hotel personnel wonderfully polite!”

We love how the resort was almost completely surrounded by water. We could watch the Bahi Belle Boat go by (which guests can ride for free!) on one side of the resort and we could go to the other side to watch or participate in other water sports. The hotel personnel were helpful and the cleaning crew always did a great job cleaning up after us! When we go back to San Diego we will be staying at this hotel!

“Nice, clean, and friendly. A very good place to stay.”

The room was large, and clean. It was nice to have chairs and a couch to sit on instead of having to sit on the bed all the time.

“"Fantastic stay at the bay!"”

The room was right on the bay, on the sand. The bay view was breathtaking. The room was warm, cozy and very clean. The restaurants and bar were a fun place to party and dine! Our party of 10 was well served.

“can't wait to go back”

I was very surprised to see the size of the room, it was a lot bigger than I had expected. It even came with a full kitchen. Small, but it came with a full-sized refrigerator, stove, oven, sink, and even cups, plates, and utensils! I was very impressed. I would definitely go back, not to mention the great price!

“Can't wait to go back and stay in the same room!”

The hotel location is very accessible to downtown and all the beach cities. The staff were very friendly and cordial. I stayed in the bayfront view studio and it was exactly as described. The room was extremely clean and they had every amenity necessary to survive a short trip away from home. It is one of very few hotels in San Diego that offers free parking and free internet and the rates were better than most of those hotels that don't offer these amenities. Parking was accessible to the rooms and there's no hassle when checking out in the morning. No phone calls or cleaning ladies banging on your door. I loved it!!!! Next time I visit San Diego, I am booking Bahia

“Well maintained, would recommend to others.”

Hotel is dated but very well mainained, especially the grounds. I thought the weekend rate was a bit pricey.

“Would stay again when in San Diego.”

Resort is located down only a 5 minute walk from the coast. Resort was fairly large and the pool area was superb. Rooms were large and comfortable and very clean and free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the whole resort was always being tended to by ground staff to keep it looking good. Only small thing I wasn't impressed with was the in room internet through the TV. Was slow and some sites wouldn't open, but only a small moan. Compared to Downtown San Diego, this is the area I would recommed staying in.

“Above expectations”

Very clean rooms. (We stayed in the north tower). Ideal location near major highways and area attractions. Breakfast buffet was delicious! Pool area is best of the past three San diego hotels we have stayed in. Very nicely landscaped. Extremely comfortable. Most impressive was the friendliness and service of the hotel staff. I wish we had more time to stay at the Bahia.
