“Nice for the Gaslight District/ Convention Center”
A good stay. No complaints. Nice walk into the Gaslight District. Be aware that it is near the Convention Center - so convention peeps are likely to be present; we got some youth missionary thing which was a little, uh, "youthful" ('know what I'm sayin' sayin'?). NOT a deal breaker but... be aware.
“awesome place”
the hotel is new (i would know, i live nearby) so everything still looks really nice. im from san diego so im familiar with its surroundings as well and it is in a good location to visit many of sd's attractions such as balboa park and gaslamp (the latter being jus a walking distance away). the staff are helpful and professional and the hotel's interior decor is very elegant. there's plenty of parking though they charge 20 something bux/night. they have starbux at the street level and 2 other restaurants in the hotel. we were not able to try any of their food but i did visit the yogurt place beside starbux and had a yummy snack despite the cold weather. our room was not anything special but it did have a great view of coronado bridge from the 22nd flr. room rates arent cheap but all in all, we got what we paid for and we were very satisfied with our short stay.
“A waste of space”
Why build a beautiful building in an area with perfect weather and offer great views without the ability to open a window in your room? Also, the salt water pool is over-rated, and cheaply decorated.
“Feels like home! Very comfy!”
Very nice, clean hotel.....I am very picky and this was a great place to stay!
“Go No Further”
Book this hotel. Staff was great...perfect location. Great Dining. Could not have asked for a better experience.
“Great Hotel”
Great hotel---great location--clean room
“LOVE IT!!”
We have been to this hotel many times. We love the location, the staff, and the facilities.
“Great location”
Very impressed by hotel and its location, 5 mins from Gaslamp district by walking and 5 mins. to bridge toward Coronado Island. Great place to walk along the waterfront all the way to the Maritime Museum. Would be nice if wifi is free or parking $27/day is waived.
“Recommend”
The hotel was very clean, and staff was very nice.
“Will not come back!”
i dont understand why overnight parking fee needs to be changed for this kind of 4/5 stars hotel??!! i never have this kind of expreince previously!! parking fee should be included for hotel guests!
