"For us rural, remote country is great. The room/old building we stayed in (Old Post Office) was also great. It was well decorated and comfortable. However, the bathroom is not connected to the building. This, in and of itself, might be ok. However, other people (ranch hands/mechanic?) were also using the bathroom. This freaked my wife out, especially after showering. This may just be a logistical issue for the property owners and easily remedied. However, we did not stay for the second night."

"Location is amazing if planning on spending your time at Don Pedro lake it was only a 10 minute commute. The host was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to all questions. A great perk is a dollar general is just down the road for any of those last minute items you may have forgot. The home provided easy access to park with the boat as well. "We were blown away by the beauty of God's creation and the incredible setting on this property and the idyllic log cabin yet modern feel. If you want boring corporate straight lines and not timber, fireplaces, telescopes, river, mountain sunrises and sunsets please stay away and leave this property for the rest of us. if I didn't live in Australia I'd be back next year.
