The furnishing were very comfortable, and the entire apartment was very clean with no wear. We were happy with the location as it is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and tourist activities. "Marcos was the best host. Communicated with us until we arrived safely, provided suggestions for restaurants and the schedule for the flower festival. The house could not be in a more perfect location. We could walk anywhere we wanted in.a short amount of time. A street with numerous restaraunts is right outside your door and another street is nearby. We tried a few and all were good . Must go across the street to the Rum House.. taste the almond rum…yummy! Overall this place was just perfect...

"Perfect sized apartment for a long term stay. Proper and updated kitchen, supplied with everything you need. Beautiful bathroom, great water pressure. Lovely apartments fronting a park. Fun to watch the dogs play. Walking distance from shopping and restaurants, great massages around the corner with Luis at Fit Cryology. Wonderful balcony. It does get very very hot in the afternoons, so I would advise a fan. Loved it. Miss it already."

"Nice small but cozy room, own kitchen and bathroom. The owner gave us some usefull tips and was overall really sweet. Its quite far from the center if you decide to walk and also the road is really steep. "

"I liked the place was great clean , quiet the entrance is down an ally with a restaurant which is fine but once restaurant closes it is very dark . I would stay there again . Ordering a car service if you have 4 pp better price than bus service and more personable "

"Perfect location. Bedroom was on the back and so was very quiet. Minor street noise (people talking) at the front but this was not a problem. Clean and well equipped. Easy communication and great to have a key pad for entry. Lovely to be in the heart of the old town. Would definitely stay again"

"If I could give more that 5 stars I would, what a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful city, everything from start to finish was hassle free, the host was so good answering any questions I had but it’s the accommodation that needs more than 5 stars, the right location, everything you could need is here, I could not of wished for anything more, a truly fantastic place to stay and hopefully I will get the chance to head back soon"

"We are a self catering couple who like to cook at home, go out for good coffee and hike in nature. Fuchal gave us a great base for all of this. Lovely condo, the kitchen is functional with everything you need to cook at home, and when they renovate later this year that will be the final touch on this lovely condo."

"Had a great time in Madeira. The condo had everything we needed. Cleaners came every two weeks. Location was great, close to shopping, promenade and restaurants. View of sunsets over the ocean were fantastic."

"The location is probably the only thing that is worth mentioning. The building is very old and everything is the department is poorly maintained. There a a few restaurants right underneath and you will be bathed with cooking smells pretty much 24x7 (we were on the 6th floor and can’t imaging how much worse on lower floors). Parking is ridiculous and you need a lot of help from your friends to get in and out. "

"Lovely balcony for watching the sunrise, walking distance to restaurants, shops. city center and parks. We found it easy to get around and the apartment had everything we needed. The booking process worked well and we were very satisfied with our stay."

"A fabulous location, and surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the old town. Apartment 1 is at the top of the building with 2 steep staircases to navigate. But once up there it is airy and bright with everything you could need. No hanging space for clothes but lots of room to store items flat. Accommodating and quick response to messages with host. Excellent location! Had a wonderful stay. Ombrigada. "

"Great space and outdoor area fantastic in apartment. Location was good as it was quieter than staying in city. There are regular buses to centre and bus stop only a couple of minutes from apartment. Check in was smooth and Host very kindly let us know we could leave our luggage if required when checking out, however we didn't need to do this. Great communication with host and answered my queries promptly."
