"The location is great, on walking distance from the harbour and main restaurant/shopping streets in Funchal. The house and its garden are absolutely wonderful, very calm, providing both sun and shade. The garden is very well-kept and we all enjoyed the terrace and pool area. "Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). The owner is always there to help."

"We had a good week. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering stay, sunny patio. comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen. There is a little convenience store next door and a full range of shops about 1 km up the hill. The nearest resturants seemed to be about 3 km away so not walking distance and the traffic was a little busy but then it is everywhere in Funchal. The owner was very friendly did everything he could to make us welcome even though he did not have much English."

"If you’re looking for a modern feel Villa, with a stunning view of Funchal and the coast, and a very nice pool, you just fund it! We were 4 friends who travelled to Madeira for the first time to film and photograph the island and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place to stay. The drive up there is a little tricky, as the road is very steep and with sharp turns, but very worth it. Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Very comfortable home with fantastic view and comfortable beds. Lots of room, large kitchen, great location. Make sure to learn about how to use the showers as the hot water will decrease if more than one person is trying to shower at a time ( the water will get cold). Very easy location to walk to many attractions, and catch taxis at the base of the hill. Unbelievably beautiful up on the porch, a great place for wine."

"Excellent property. I could not believe the amount of ware glasses etc. It had absolutely everything. Mirela was so helpful. Great view from the property. We felt the pull up the hill but very soon found an alternate route. Would definitely recommend it to anybody who is thinking of going to Madeira. Weather was very warm when we were there so it was great to sit out in the shade."

"Beautiful property we had a wonderful stay. We were meet by property manager who went through everything with us. We were 7 adults and 4 children. It was a perfect home for the bigger kids had a pool table and pool. Close to all, easy to access freeway. Garage parking for 3 cars was perfect. I would just make sure to request more bath towels and toilet paper before arrival."

"Susy as a host is just amazing. Whenever you messaged her, you would get a response instantly. She is friendly, kind and polite. Susy’s Garden is the most perfect place. It is the perfect villa with breathtaking views (which is perfect for the New Year’s Eve Fireworks). It is well kept and clean. "This was a fabulous villa and we enjoyed our stay immensely! We were not far from bus stops, so it was easy to get to Funchal, and we were within walking distance of a Continente. The space was lovely and inviting. There were only minor inconveniences - there was no toilet paper rolls or hand soap anywhere, and several of the 5 bathrooms ran out the first day. We picked some up at the supermercado. Nice views from the yard also."

"Lovely little apartment with everything we needed, beautiful setting with huge terrace overlooking the bay in Funchal. Great location for old town, pleasant 10 minute walk to restaurants even though bit steep in places. Mara the housekeeper was so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. "The home was clean and well situated. We enjoyed the views from the upper balcony and the pool. it should be noted you cannot see the ocean or views from the pool or when sitting on the ground floor because of the wall, however when you stand up or go to the upper level you can. It is about a 10 minute convenient drive to funchal and close to the highway. Well situated to explore the island."
