A true masterpiece, based on the carefully planned reinvention of an old regional factory. An apartment that is an outstanding example of elegance and contemporary design. Spacious and impeccably designed, it offers a truly refined style. With three spacious suites, each with a private shower, comfort is guaranteed for all guests. The social area stands out with a living room, dining room and an open-space kitchen island. There is also a guest toilet and a separate laundry room for added convenience. The balconies add an extra touch of refinement. One of them stretches along the side of the Mercado dos Lavradores, offering captivating views of the city. This balcony is accessible from the master suite and the living room area, providing a pleasant environment in which to relax. The second balcony offers a small garden shared by two of the suites. Guests have access to a communal swimming pool on the rooftop, complete with sun loungers to relax and enjoy the sun while contemplating the panoramic view of the city. AREA The property is located in the center of Funchal, Madeira Island. Take advantage of your stay to explore this town, which offers countless possibilities! Take advantage of the apartment's proximity to the Mercado dos Lavradores. Guests have easy access to various restaurants, bars, stores and supermarkets, including a nearby beach and promenade. Perfect location for exploring the city on foot (within a 5-15 minute walk of the cathedral, marina, CR7 Museum, Santa Catarina Park, Funchal Municipal Garden, Baltazar Dias Theatre, Electricity Museum), by car (parking nearby) and by public transport (bus stop right outside the building). There is a Pingo Doce supermarket in the Anadia Shopping center. Don't miss the experience of taking the cable car to Monte or the Botanical Garden. You can also walk to the starting point (5-7 minutes). You should also know that in the center of Funchal there are several tourist attractions and information on cultural activities, extreme activities, nature activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. OTHER OBSERVATIONS \- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). \- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property. We walked or took a short Uber to many lovely dinners and day activities. We were able to make arrangements for your pick ups easily. The unit itself is beautiful. Large, nicely appointed, and with everything you might need (dishes, laundry, iron, coffee machine, linens, etc.). The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were modern and luxurious, and the views were great. The building amenities were also excellent.
