"Loved It"
Loved everything except paper cups for coffee (prefer glass) and the pillows were too big and uncomfortable. Everything else was superb. Fitness room didn't open until 8:00 am on weekends but staff accommodated my husband. Most exercisers do it early, even on weekends!

"A unique experience"
We had a very unique experience staying at the Gladstone and being in West Toronto. The staff were very accomadating and the fact that we were right on the Queen Street line assisted us in getting around the city easily, being dropped of right at the door of the hotel. We were in Toronto to visit our son that was staying at a friends house in West Toronto. He was here on business. The space at the hotel allowed us to have a great visit outside of our room. The elevator was fun and the room was really a piece of art! Thank you!

"Hotel with a club"
Great small place, just a simple hotel more like a guest house without the kitchen. The club downstairs might be a bit much for some people as you can hear the bass hits of the music downstairs. We both found it lulled us to sleep though, as the city is filled with noise, the subtle music was a pleasant distraction from the sounds of cars. The small room size kept things simple but the layout really helped make it feel bigger than it was. We wished it had a mini fridge for our leftovers from the amazing food Toronto has to offer but we made due just leaving it in the car which was a slight walk from the hotel.

Pocket Guide: Downtown Toronto, Toronto Boutique Hotels

Toronto’s culturally diverse downtown includes the CN Tower, the Royal Ontario Museum, and the Art Gallery of Ontario. Air Canada Centre is home to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Rogers Centre features the Blue Jays. Toronto’s underground city is a great way to get around the downtown core when the temperature drops. Known as the PATH, it is also the world’s largest subterranean shopping center.
