A comfortable modern hotel sited within easy distance to metro and bus routes and central enough to walk to several main tourist sites if you wish. Adequate but not overwhelming breakfast but always replenished when needed. If you intend to have breakfast in the hotel book it before you go and it works out a bit cheaper. They do serve an evening meal if wanted but there are so many restaurants to chose from in Barcelona I would suggest eating out. Staff are knowledgable and very friendly and eager to help whenever needed. There is a small pool on the roof but not really big enough for dedicated swimmers. Also a rooftop bar which is open until midnight. It offers a panoramic view of the city.
Arrived at the hotel; went to La Rambla to people watch while we waited for the room. Choose the standard room online and prepaid; room had no chair or coffee service. Didn't plan on staying in room anyway for our short, two-day stay. The room is as seen in the photos, so no surprises.
Very nice hotel...clean, well presented, good staff.
It is based on las ramblas so be aware the night time can be a little noisy.
Really enjoyed the rooftop pool whilst drinking cocktails and eating snacks!
Perfect hotel for exploring the city. All attractions within walking distance.Staff very attentive, rooms perfectly serviced and pool area breathtaking.
We stayed to celebrate a birthday and the triple room felt luxurious and well appointed to manage three adult women and all our luggage.
Highly recommend and can't wait to return.
When I went to Barcelona, I wanted to 1) stay right in the mainstream of the city 2) have a clean and comfortable room/bathroom to go to freshen up at the end of the day 3) good price (not cheap, not expensive) .. this hotel fit the bill and their free internet is great. For a quick coffee/snack loads of restaurants of all types (from local ones to McDonalds and KFC) right outside.
Barcelona's Old Town, the Ciutat Vella takes in the Barri Gòtic and the world-famous promenade of Las Ramblas. The former is the city's medieval core, a maze of atmospheric alleyways clustered around the splendid Gothic Cathedral. Quirky specialist shops and characterful bars and eateries abound. Don't miss the Museu Picasso and the Museu d'Història de la Ciutat, as much for their palatial settings as their content.
