The staff at this hotel is top notch. The grounds are beautiful. The restaurant is great. I tripped in the dark and broke the glass in a picture hanging on our wall. The staff promptly replaced it and told me not to worry about it. We hope to be back. My only complaint is about the bed. It was on the more rigid side and I woke up with a stiff back every morning. Still, I'd stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat.
This was an excellent hotel in a quiet location. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the metro, which was easy to use. Staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. This was our first visit to Barcelona and we plan to go back very soon!
Having never been to Barcelona we really enjoyed our stay. The room had a excellent view. The staff and service were excellent. I would recommend to stay at this hotel while in Barcelona. Close to all the big spots for shopping.
Thanks to all the staff.
Very noisy street... cars & buses & horns from street traffic, people partying talking & laughing out front -- all well into the night, finally quieted-down about 2 am but not completely. But the facility was clean, and the security good.
"Good location close to metro and easy walk to city"
We had a great welcome from lovely desk staff who were very helpful. Out room wason the small side with old bathrooms and no view, but everything was clean and worked fine which made it a great base. The hotel is close to a metro station and is a decent walk into the old part if the city.
Have stayed at this hotel various times. Like the look of it, and appreciate that it is in a great neighborhood, far from the crowds. CHeck in was very late, and the room we were given wasn't ready. We went to another room, and there were various flaws (curtains, shower, mirrors, reading light). Changed room the next night, and the staff offered a box of chocolates for our trouble. Not sure I'll stay there again. Too many low priced quality options now in Barna.
A good hotel, in a quiet neighbourhood ideal for families, easy access to all tourist attractions by cab or tour bus (a few blocks away). Currently being refurbished and all rooms will soon be ultra modern. Great breakfast, great restaurant, reception and managerial staff (the manager kept our luggage in his office as our flight was later in the night. He's a keen listener and does everything in the best interest of the guest). The hotel is a member of the Accor Group and the rates are very competitive.
A predominantly upmarket residential neighbourhood, Sarria-Sant Gervasi’s principal thoroughfare is the Diagonal, the city’s primary business and commercial district. The area is good for shopping with two branches of El Corte Inglés department store and L’Illa Diagonal mall. Neighbouring Gràcia (east) is best for a more local eating, drinking and shopping experience while and Pedralbes (north) is also well worth a visit.
