"The property was directly on the water with nice views of Hilo Bay and Coconut Island. The rooms were fairly spacious with an outdoor balcony. I had reserved 2 ocean-front rooms and requested a King bed in each, but we had 2 Queens in each. The property was clean enough but the furnishings, carpets, etc. were somewhat tired. The provided continental breakfast offerings were pretty weak."

"We asked for and were told we had late checkout at 2:00. They couldn’t accommodate 4:00, but for a fee could do 2:00. I okayed the fee. We got back from our massage in our last day and were locked out. We wasted 30 minutes of our paid for extra time to go down to the front desk to get it straightened out. The when we were back in the room a housekeeper walked in on me- naked , just out of the shower. Not the best way to end our trip. "

"It was Definitely centrally located with most any need/want within reasonable walking distance. Many amenities were very close. Our ‘View’ was Very limited and left much to be desired (as in an Actual VIEW, of more than the wall of the next building (about 6-8’ away from our balcony). All else was fine. Though A hot tub and longer open hours for the pool would have Really improved our stay. Still, everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. A solid 4 out of 5 I’d say. 👍🌈"
