“My preferred hotel in Peterborough”
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with this hotel. It was my first stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
“Clean hotel”
Excellent hotel. Only complaint I had was that it is very loud when the bars get out. Lots of yelling and screaming, even police cars. Other than that, hotel was comfy.
“convenient, affordable downtown hotel”
I was fully satisfied with my visit. The hotel was convieniently located, comfortable and pleasant

A very nice, comfortable hotel. Rooms at the front are loud when the bar across the street lets out, so ask for a room at the back.
“Impressive”
The decor and cleanliness of the hotel is commendable. My only problem was the sofa bed which was uncomfortable. The whirlpool tub was luxurious, the fireplace was a nice touch and the view was non-existent but that is not a huge problem. The continental breakfast was one of the better ones I have seen with a nice variety. Excellent stay.
“Downtown Peterborough Ontario Hotel”
Used this hotel while visiting our son near Christmas. Very convenient for Downtown Peterborough, right on George Street. Room was fine; nothing extraordinary, but quite satisfactory. Prices were slightly less than comparable national chain hotels. Only odd thing was that the room temperature was controlled by the fireplace - very unusual to wake up in the middle of the night with the fireplace on! There is a sign - but we didn't notice it. We would go back.
“Convenience, Comfort”
This small but well-appointed hotel is right downtown, handy to decent restaurants, shops, pubs, music. The parking is free, just around the corner. A good place for parents visiting children at Trent.

“"Disappointed"”
The lobby and some rooms need major redecorating. When we entered our room it was very stuffy and hot. The large portable floor unit air conditioner was very loud and very close to the bed. It took 12 hours to cool the room down with the air conditioner. The staff was pleasant but I don't think jeans and a Tshirt are appropriate attire for front desk staff of a "boutique" hotel.
“clean, comfortable bed, dated”
hotel is old, but very clean, has fireplace, a/c is loud, alley view, but who cares on business trip. maid did not clean nor restock in room coffee maker after night one of 2 night stay. more variety on continental breakfast than any other hotell i've stayed at. hotel is on one way street which can be confusing to get to the first time.
