"Wasn’t expecting much but for one night it was perfect and all we needed. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Even let us order a Deliveroo to reception in the early hours of the morning! The room was basic but all we needed. Hotel was very clean and room too. Three single beds in one room was exactly what we needed. The water was hot which was great! The doors, decor and carpet were dated but a very clean and tidy hotel. Shop in the hotel ridiculously expensive!! Only let down was the sink in...

"Hotel in a convenient location 2 blocks froim a major metro station with a direct line to Heathrow Airport and connections to major rail stations. It was a LKITTLE noisy at times--but you're in the middle of a major metropolitan city, so I think it is reasonable. I lost NO sleep but there's horn honking in the daytime sometimes. Lots of food options, minutes away from major tourist spots."

"I had an incredible sleep, a really comfy bed, and so dark and peaceful. The staff are great and the rooms are really cool. The one lift is an issue as you can wait to get into a very crowded lift, and every thing costs more money ( leaving bags etc) also the rooms don’t have wardrobes so not ideal for a long stay, but well worth a night or two "

"I stay in these a lot - great location, quiet (for London) good sized and well appointed. Some could do with a return but for the price in this location these are an excellent choice "

"Easy check in at noon as i came straight from redeye arrival at heathrow. Walked from the Tube stop. Good indian restaurant bar on premises. Only letdown was that i couldnt watch north american sports in the bar. No reception and too much time change. Double bed was fine. Washroom was small but it worked ok"

"Average hotel across from Dt Pancras and Kings Cross stations which is why we chose it as we were heading away the following day on the Eurostar. Very convenient location. Bit rundown. Had elevator but you need to walk downstairs to catch it and as we were staying on the 2nd floor, had to exit the elevator and walk another flight of stairs. Weird. "

"Great location with easy access to Kings Cross and Russel Square stations. Relatively quiet neighborhood next to park with tennis courts. Laundry facility just around the corner. Several pubs in the area that weren’t crowded with tourists. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only down side was the location of our room on the 4th floor - up very steep stairs. Air conditioning was nice as the top floor does get warm. Room was small, but functional. "

"We loved our stay at Palmers Lodge in our ensuite bunk bed room. The building is amazing, the staff were friendly, our bunk beds were super comfortable, our belongings were safe in our room, we were close to the tube. Towels and sheets and tea/coffee makings were provided.The bar/restaurant downstairs was super handy , the lounge areas were pleasant and comfortable. We were able to store our luggage after checking out for a small fee."

"The staff is very warm and welcoming. Mind that there is no elevator at the property but the staff is vary helpful to assist you with the luggage. "

"Very clean and also a very convenient location. Desk staff were very pleasant and helpful and there was always someone at the desk. Only negative was after a long day walking and seeing the sites, we came back and room had not be cleaned and towels not replaced. We told staff and they sent someone right away. Breakfast was good. I would stay there again. "
