“good hotel”
The hotel was great. The staff was professional and helpful, the room was clean and kept up well. There were no real problems with either the room or the hotel in general.
“Ticked all the boxes”
Excellent location beside Warren Street tube station. Upgraded to suite - very comfortable. Staff very pleasant. Exactly what we wanted for overnight stay in London.
“nice stay”
good location. just right for 2 adults. nice bathroom - loved the double shower head. nice stay.
“Perfect location!!”
We were extremely pleased with our 2 twin bed room. We were concerned that the room would be small based on some Expedia reviews but found it quite roomy as European hotels go. We talked with a few other guests who thought there room was too small. We're not sure of their location but we faced the side street The in-room refrigerator was a big plus for storing beverages and there was a 110-volt outlet and wash cloths. The location was perfect! Tube/subway station less than 50 yards away, bus stop just outside the hotel door, McDonald's two doors down and two nice "convenience store"-type businesses within the block. Tasty restaurants within 10 minute walk on Goodge and Charlotte Streets and numerous Indian restaurants off of nearby Drummond. (Big thumbs up for Ping Pong, an Asian-themed restaurant on Goodge). 5 minutes by bus from The British Museum. Relatively central location for tourism. We always felt safe walking in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only two negatives--the hotel restaurant was VERY expensive (£31 GBP for buffet breakfast [about $46]) and a good bit of noise from the outside including sirens throughout the night as there's a hospital right across the street from the hotel. We sleep with the TV on so it was no problem for us but light sleepers should ask for a room away from the street. I would stay at this hotel anytime I visited London.
“Good hotel, great location”
This hotel is in a great location and very good value. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast was very good, I would definately stay there again.
“Irish Traveller”
We found everyone in the hotel very friendly, the room was spacious for London and very clean. It was also very close to the Northern Line, which was handy for travelling to Leicester Square.
“Très bon hôtel”
Très bon hôtel, très propre, le personnel est accueillant. Tout était parfait.
“Very nice hotel”
Great location right next to tube stop and close to King's Cross/St. Pancras. Staff was very friendly, and the room was nice. I'm sure I was in the smallest room in the hotel - good enough for one person, but would be slightly tight for two. Bathroom was in excellent condition and absolutely spotless. I think I've found "my" London hotel.
“Suite”
“A hidden jewel!”
A beautifully presented hotel with many modern features. Staff were extremely efficient and accomodating. Given free upgrade(w/out asking!) as room was not ready on arrival. Bags safely taken care of in the meantime. Hotel is in perfect location with plenty to do in its immediate streets;pubs, shops, supermarkets, fast food etc. Tube 2 mins walk away! Room was clean, spacious and of a high standard. Thoroughly enjoyed returning to the cosy room after a tiring day!We stayed as a couple, but both Business travellers and families were also using the hotel. A great hotel for all and probably the best hotel we've stayed in in London so far. Would definitely recommend!
