“I'll be back!”
A warm welcome in a well refurbished hotel although some work was still ongoing. However this did not impact on the stay. Lovely rooms with a nice restaurant and excellent food. Disappointed upon arrival that we did not have a twin room as requested and this could have caused some difficulties but the hotel responded well and a solution found. The location is excellent with a 5 minute walk to Leicester Square and Covent Garden and the surrounding area has a good selection of shops and restaurants. I would recommend the hotel, its location and very friendly staff.
“Wonderful location, perfect romantic getaway”
We were delighted with this hotel. The room wasn't huge but it was more than enough for the two of us and it was very, very comfortable - everything we needed and more. Comfy robes, a well-appointed bathroom with many toiletries that aren't common in hotel rooms and very nice, dimmer lights in the various areas of the room were all special touches. The location was absolutely perfect. We'll definitely go back the next time we're in London.
“Great location”
We spent only one night here, part of birthday celebrations for my husband. The hotel was specifically chosen for its location, close to the theatre and restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff attentive and helpful. The only down side was the room and particularly the bathroom was on the small side. For only one night this hardly mattered though I would upgrade to a larger room if staying longer. Would certainly stay here again.
“Radisson Edwardian Mercer St. Hotel, April 2012”
Having stayed in a fair number of hotels in various European capital cities, I know that rooms are generally quite small, so I was prepared for this. This hotel, however, was a little roomier than many. I traveled with a friend and we booked a room with twin beds. There was a rack for one suitcase and still some room on the floor for the other one. The beds were comfortable, the bath towels were nice and large, the shower stall was roomy and had both a hand-held and an overhead shower feature. There were extra pillows and 2 bathrobes in the closet, along with a hairdryer and a safe. We had complimentary coffee in the mornings and, although we never ate in the restaurant, we did order a couple of sandwiches late one night for room service. The television was a Smart TV, so we could have had our Internet access (included) via the tv if we had checked out a keyboard for a 40 pound deposit (fully refundable when returned). I brought my laptop, so I didn't use that feature. If you take a taxi to the hotel from the train station or some other starting point, mention "Seven Dials." The hotel sits right on the corner of one of the 7 streets that are like spokes coming from a circle. The Radisson sign is very small and can easily be missed, so look for Mercer Street Hotel. Yes, it's expensive, but it's London and I wanted a nice place. I was not disappointed. We had a lovely stay.
“Great location”
Great location. Good restaurants in area. Close to two tube stops - Covent Garden and Leicester Square.
“Small but perfectly placed!”
Staff were more than accommodating and extremely friendly. The hotel is in a perfect position on the 7 dials, close to all amenities around covent garden. This is our second stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting london. The bedrooms are small but very comfortable and have almost everything you need. The full english breakfast, served fresh from the kitchen, is a must and leaves you full for hours! We are looking forward to our next stay at this lovely hotel.
“great 7 dials hotel - posh and cozy”
loved this quiet, newly renovated radisson in covent garden - great room with excellent bath - staff was welcoming and helpful - location couldnt be better
“love covent garden”
We have stayed at this hotel several times. This is the first visit since the renovation. All is beautiful except the really tacky pinky/purple and lime green velvet throws on the beds. The staff is great and the dining room great. We had breakfast every morning and dinner one night.
“Sans hésiter..”
L'hotel Radisson Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel est très bien situé très proche de Covent Garden et au calme, à taille humaine. L'acceuil est professionnel. Les chambres sont modernes, et confortables. Le petit-dejeuner est bon, mais un peu cher pour le full English Breakfast. On y retournera sans hésiter.
“Good Hotel”
Great location, nice room
