We had an excellent 3 night stay at Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. We chose it for its location on the Kona side of the island, but off of 'resort row'. After a very long travel day, it was wonderful to be welcomed Hawaiian style with a shell and kukui nut lei, fresh fruit juice and cold towels. We then were fortunate to be upgraded from a garden view room to an ocean view! Alo-ha!!! Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to relax. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Our expectations were blown away. The suite was gorgeous, clean and spacious. It had everything we needed and more. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the Waikoloa area. Pickup some snokelling gear and check out the black sand beach at the neighboring property. It was a highlight of our trip.

This hotel is wonderful, it's beyond our expectation, we had 2 bedroom suites, which was specious and comfort, love the amenities, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use any of them. I would recommend to stay here for at least five days.

Great resort walking distance from Queens and Kings Marketplace. Infinity pool was beautiful. Walk to sandy beach excellent for swimming. Bar and food was great! Would recommend, and we would stay here again . 5 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Tower Waikoloa Village. We stayed on the 8th floor of the Ocean Tower, and our room had a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. The view was honestly one of our favorite parts of the stay, especially in the mornings.
The resort was beautiful, relaxing, and well-maintained. It was a great place to stay and enjoy the scenery while also having a convenient location to explore the Big Island.
One thing I would recommend is adding...

The most stand out thing about this Fairmont is the staff. Very friendly, polite and helpful. We were at Fairmont Mayakoba earlier this year - they need to come to Hawaii for training.

Very comfortable bed, great A/C and view. The only thing was that the rubber baseboard that was glued to the bathtub had accumulated a lot of gunk at the end and needed cleaning.

Contactless check in and out, we picked up our key in an after hours box. We found the staff kind and helpful when needed. Nothing fancy but clean and had great views of the valley. Quiet hotel that is suitable for guests looking for budget friendly option in a central location. Grocery store, Starbucks, restaurants all in walking distance.
