Loved this hotel and its family-friendly, laid back vibe. Amenities were great, only that the sand made the pools dirty. Combined with all the leaves in the pools, they felt dirty. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The hotel is really nice. Check in and out is cramped! Little areas for parking while checking in. The restaurants were fantastic on property! Staff was great and helpful but seemed house keeping was short staffed. Biggest problem was the shower! They look great and are clean. The problem is when you shower the tiles were not laid correctly, the water runs on the floor for a heck of a mess to clean up, we used all our towels and then trying to get new ones was an issue! It took forever, finally gave up on house keeping and had them left at front desk so we could enjoy the river walk. Our room was evidently close to where house keeping kept items and all we heard were the slamming or closing of doors. I've traveled extensively and we are always holding the door instead of letting it slam, staff need to be trained! We had a great time in San Antonio but probably will not stay here again, cost is Not Justified! I've / we have stayed in many 5 star properties, this is a heck of a stretch for a 5 star property!

This place is first class from the time you step out of your vehicle. The staff is professional they hold doors for you and the facility is outstanding. They’re doing a great job keeping everything maintained and fresh. The rooms are beautiful. The grounds are beautiful. The pools are amazing. My wife and I went for our anniversary and we will definitely want to go again sometime.
