Western Tokyo Waterpark Vacations

I really enjoyed my stay at GRAND MONday Ueno Okachimachi. The best part was definitely the 2nd floor because it had the gym, sauna, vending machine and public bath all right there together. It was so convenient to finish a workout and go straight into the spa to relax. The front desk is staffed and they are super helpful. Having a washer/dryer and a full fridge made everything so much easier. It’s also in a great spot—super close to the station and within walking distance to the markets and Akihabara. I’d definitely stay here again!

Location is close to a major train station, shops and restaurants. Aesthetics of the room is 👍 but the space is a little cramp especially if you max the occupancy. Cute kitchenette with complete amenities but no place to sit and enjoy your meal. Staff are all nice and polite- very efficient check in and out.

The pajamas were stained and uncomfortable. The Yukata were a terrible fabric and the undershirt was very used and worn fabric. Nothing cotton or soft, very scratchy.

Property needs updating in terms of modern IT needs. Very few outlets and plugs for computer charging etc.

The rooms are spacious, staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is closer to Shinagawa station, handy to 7-11 and other amenities

This was an amazing stay! Amazing and exclusive views of Tokyo Tower! The room was beautiful! The staff was excellent and on point! We are very grateful that we could experience such a wonderful property!

Clean rooms, basic rooms are small but paying a little extra for more space is worth it in my opinion especially if you find yourself with multiple people or large luggage. Location is good next to a train station with access to several convenient stores and a Don Quijote nearby. Staff is helpful and polite.

Jane at the front desk was absolutely fabulous — warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure every aspect of my stay was perfect.Housekeeping maintained the room flawlessly each day, always with incredible care and precision. The bell staff were consistently courteous, welcoming, and eager to assist. A very special thank you as well to Elaine del Rosario from in-room dining, who went above and beyond throughout my stay. No request ever felt too small or too ridiculous — every need was met with kindness, efficiency, and grace. That level of personalized service is what transforms a beautiful hotel into a truly memorable experience. Yet as a vegetarian, the food choices were very limited and the spa far too pricey. Nonetheless, bravo!
