At OBR the apartment suites were impeccibly designed and decorated. Please note that at this resort there exist only one building that is Handicap equipped with elevators. The beach is private and small. As far as the location, it is located on the other side of the island, but still on the Dutch side of SXM. That said if you book in high sesaon, you are looking at a ride of 30 + minutes to and from the airport. Staff at OBR was on point! The restaurants, The Infinity (lambchops) and the Veranda (mini Tuna bagette and BLT mini baguette)were absolutely to die for. Of course with anything else there's always a "you cant please everyone". Drinks fell in the later category. A BIG COMMENDATION to HOUSEKEEPING STAFF, Althea. Front Desk Associate Tenika, and Associate support Nelson. You three made our stay MOST MEMORABLE. Continued Blessings Always!!

Room was clean & well maintained with a nice ocean front view. Staff was courteous & professional. Breakfast ( included) was quite good with variety.

Like others have stated I was hesitant to book at first with it being a new property and limited reviews but we are glad we did. The whole complex is very modern, secure and as beautiful as the pictures show. The view from the location is amazing. The pool was great and got sun all day, most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. You will definitely want a car as its a 5 minute drive down the hill to any restaurants or stores. Communication could have been better and being a new place there is a lack of kitchen supplies if you are planning to cook in a lot. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay here again.

Overall we had a fine stay, pool was lovely, enjoyed the beach front access, many food options and a little store. NOT the hotel for younger people, not a girls trip hotel. We came with a group in our 20s and entire resort was 60+ crowd, music at pool catered to old crowd. Service was not the best. Bell boys were kind but calling front desk was never a good experience. Our beds had no blankets just top sheets we had to call many times to get a blanket. Called for the bell boy golf cart to help us with our luggage at check out and no one ever came, one of the girls is pregnant and we had to lug our suitcases down to the lobby because they never sent someone. There was also no poolside service. We decided to do a day pass at the Morgan Resort and service was 100000x better, more comfortable pool chairs and poolside drink/food service. The Divi was adequate enough as a place to rest your head but if you’re looking for a relaxing, lux, young crowd and to feel like you’re actually in vacation Divi was not that
