Sand Island Ski Vacations

JUST LIKE PHOTO! This was the first time to Oahu, for a wedding. We had come a few days early to explore the island and stayed in various places on the island... North Shore, Waikiki, etc. We were a little apprehensive to initially reserve this place since our group host had warned us not to stay in this area because they heard it was dangerous and suggested we book 45min-1hour away. We booked anyway hoping they were wrong primarily because it was only 10min from wedding site and the view at this place looked exactly liked what I love. Affordable ocean view, not overcrowded. Not only was the accommodation exactly like pictured, the room exceeded our expectation! The view was AMAZING! We stayed in 1408 (corner room w/private entrance and side walk way) 1 bedroom w/pull out couch bed in the living room. 2ba/full kitchen, fridge, washer/dryer, all working well w/sufficient essentials ie) pots, pans, dinning ware, coffee maker, etc. We arrived later in the evening and had the night guard ck us in. Since we did not rent a car, friends dropped us off, we walked half mile to Long's Drug store-plenty of grocery items available AND safe enough to walk to and from and night. Of course we had inquired about safety with night guard prior to walking around at 10:30pm. He gave us the thumbs up. We had no problems whatsoever! There isn't much to do as far as activities, however after touring around the island, this was heavenly for us. Enjoyed all the sea turtles nightly. DEFINITELY RECOMD!

Not as advertised on Expedia (ocean view - side/partial, deluxe room - just no). Quite dated overall, due for refresh of bedding, wall paint, appliances and furniture. Beach equipment is present but too old and mostly broken. AC is very loud but isn’t super effective. Kitchen supplies are very sparse. TV is a challenge to operate. Overall, too pricey compared to other condos in the property.

Everything was perfect! Thank you to the Marbella Team, our stay was excellent. We enjoyed everything Mākaha valley had to offer. Especially the amazing sunsets! 10/10 would recommend

We had 3 adults staying there. It was advertised for 3 adults, however, the futon foldout was only big enough for a kid. We took pictures of our adult kids and their heads went over the futon. However. After complaining, the owners dropped off a double/queen blow up mattress, about the 3 day into the stay, meanwhile one of the kids had to move into our room. So, bad news, the room was not set up for 3 adults, but good news after days of complaining, the bed was corrected.
