My favorite stay of my long trip. It was quiet and cozy, and the property was beautiful. The owners were very accommodating and lovely, and the property is very close to Remuera station and bus stops. If I return to Auckland I definitely would love to stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean and tidy room. gorgeous country views, fully enjoyed the "special attention" from our hosts. The meals and service were amazing. Chef "Stewart" cooked beyond perfection! The spa pool was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the 5 km trail walk around the property. A very calm, relaxing and safe feeling at this lodge. A highly recommend quiet retreat! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Loved the red accents of colour in the hotel and room and the shower was good with high pressure and the option to have rain shower or wall shower. What I didn’t like was booking a superior corner room and the view from those windows was piping on the roofs outside, presumably for air conditioning. Our room was also not good as there was something banging against the wall making the bed head bang against the wall and woke me up three times. We didn’t have a neighbouring room on that side only the stairwell so think it was every time someone opened the door and the vibration came from the door closing. We booked it as it was close to the Titanic exhibition and for that aspect it was very close.
