Most modern hotel that I’ve found in the Bologna area, staff are excellent

Great stay. To be considered again.

Would be great to have a hairdryer, steamer and a real nespresso machine for coffee. American coffee wasn't excellent Friendly staff!! Spacious rooms!

The hotel was nice and clean, especially for the price. The AC did not cool our room and it was very warm. We had an early flight and wanted to eat dinner early, but the restaurant did not open until 6:30 p.m. Dinner was delicious and the waitress was attentive. We chose this hotel for the transportation and proximity to the airport but was told we had to book transportation days in advance because there was no availability when we needed it early in the morning. The desk did call for a taxi for us but that definitely was not free like the transportation provided by hotel.

Everything and everyone there was amazing. The ONLY thing I would suggest is that they pony up for some soft sheets and pillowcases. Shockingly stiff and uncomfortable. We resorted to wrapping our pillow with a t-shirt.

Overall very nice , i found staff in bar on main floor to be quite rude

We picked the hotel because it was central which it was. We had numerous problems from the very first night. A flickering light in the bedroom and the bathroom lights cut out and the switch completely went. We thought it was maybe a one off but we let it go. Then the next morning after breakfast the same problems and the bathroom door locked itself from the inside so we reported it to the reception staff who sent someone up with my son so he could explain we were then told we could go out and when we came back it would be sorted. On returning from our day out we came back and nothing had been fixed so went back to tell reception who then said they had been told it had been fixed so they then sent up someone else to unlock the bathroom door once they had done that we were told that we weren’t to close the bathroom door fully in case it happened again and that we would have to deal with the light cutting out because the glare from the bathroom mirror light would show enough light through the open door! Pretty unacceptable as they didn’t even try to sort lights or find out the cause! The bar till was also not working the first night so instead of charging drinks to our room bill or pay by card we had to use cash which we were getting short on. The room wasn’t even cleaned and beverages weren’t replenished. Only the beds were made. Good location but not worth the money. Big disappointment as we had stayed at the Mercure the year before and it was good
