Cabo Real Scuba Diving Vacations

The front desk attendant made this stay so enjoyable. She helped us with directions & restaurants. Her restaurant recommendations were amazing. Pool was perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Rooms were charming & very clean. Would definitely stay here again. A car is needed to get to main restaurant areas but parking wasn’t a problem so it worked out great.

The villa and property grounds were beautiful, the food was not good and at and the service wasn’t must better... slow service and even slower butler, which we paid for.. we saw him one time

Things looked like they needed serious updating!! A bit rundown from last visit. Many lights not working, problem getting towels? Beautiful property!!

Rocky start: paid for ocean view room had view of pool and palm trees. I went down to change room. They did move us up two floors and the view was nice. Said we had to wait 40 minutes for room to be ready, but was an hour and a half. We checked back four times before we got into the room. Bathroom sink facet had a slow stream and couldn’t shut it off. Ran a tub full of water and turned on jets. Lots of black particles in tub. Don’t even want to think about what they were. Food at cafeteria style restaurant was what you would expect, and even a picky eater could find something. You have to have reservations for the other onsite restaurant. Only 1 restaurant was open per night. The Italian restaurant was really good the Mexican okay. Lots of loud music played by pool all day with some exercise classes and bingo. The ocean out front had big waves and some undercurrent. I enjoyed the waves, but not good for smaller children or anyone not really comfortable in the water. One of two main elevators was broken all three days we were there.

Room (2bdrm) was very nice and spacious with a full size jacuzzi on a large balcony. They had a really nice charcuterie board and good bottle of wine waiting when we arrived! Restaurant downstairs was pretty good, highlight was the ice cream which was amazing. It has an ocean view but it’s not oceanfront, probably the only downside we found. But great for families based on the size of the room. Would return.

The room was amazing. 3 bedroom villa, family of 5. Food was 8/10…we did all inclusive, if the prices we saw were accurate it would be almost prohibitive not to. Breakfast the best. Pools 9.5/10. Really nice. Gym was 9/10. Staff 10/10. Nespresso coffee and pods in room. Currently construction on the ocean side of vista encantada, but wasn’t very impactful. Only real complaint was the pillows…small and flat. It was better than we expected from the Expedia descriptions. Scheduled van to/from airport was ~ $250 round trip for 5.

Swim out pool in front of room was fun. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was better than expected. Only problem was that room backed on to the highway and was noisy. Other than that, the room was very large and comfortable.

The room was lovely, and it had excellent soundproofing, which was important to us as a family with a baby and a ten year old. Everything about our stay met or exceeded our expectations, but the real standout was the staff. Every single person went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We would definitely visit again.
