Gambier Island Scuba Diving Vacations

Location was perfect! In less hectic part so nighttime was quieter vs. being in the midst of the village. Staff so friendly and helpful. Pool was dirty, but there are a lot of tall trees around. Nice pool/hot tub area. Also a dry sauna. Room was very clean. Loved the balcony and the kitchenette...would come in handy for longer stays. Bed was lumpy...definitely need to get a new mattress set up. I alerted front desk staff, they apologized and said they have made a note and thanked me for bringing to their attention. Overall great stay.

We had an upgraded King room and it was amazing! Very large space with nice amenities and a comfortable bed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You can tell this is a luxury property. The bathroom floors were heated which was a nice plus! The only thing to be aware of is that there is a nightclub in the hotel and if it’s a weekend, you will hear the music. We just played some white noise and it wasn’t too bad.

Room was spacious and pool hot tub were amazing! Great location, especially if you’re attending events at rogers arena or BC place.

Stayed at the Fairmont Gold in Whistler recently. The room itself was very nice and comfortable, but unfortunately the overall Gold experience did not live up to expectations. The service felt below the standard I would expect from Fairmont Gold. While there is a lounge/buffet for Gold guests, it is quite limited and consists mostly of light snacks rather than a meaningful breakfast or food offering. I would not recommend counting on it as part of the value of the stay. Overall, while the accommodations were good, I personally did not find the Fairmont Gold upgrade worth the additional cost.
