My parents and I have just returned from a New Years Eve trip to Antwerp. We had a brilliant stay at the MAEK Hotel which is close to Antwerp Central Station. The location is perfect, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the whole place has a relaxed, stylish vibe that makes you feel instantly at home. The breakfast was also 10/10\. A special shout‑out to the receptionist, a young lad called Eecol, who genuinely made the stay even better. He was friendly, informative, and had a great sense of humour. He went out of his way to help with recommendations and local tips, all delivered with a bit of banter. My only complaint? He’s a Max Verstappen fan… but I suppose nobody’s perfect. All in all, a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back.

The room was clean but decor and bath quite shabby. Staff were helpful polite and pleasant. The room was very large. There were a few points which rather spoilt it. Minor complaints were that the restaurant wasnt open for lunch at weekends or on sunday evening and that the sound on the tv wouldnt go above 30, also the shower was very antiquated and taps almost falling out of the wall. My major complaint is that the bathroom stank of sh\*t which if one didnt ALWAYS close the door permiated thebedroom. .

Breakfast menú Can be better, dinner is a lot of sea food. Can vary in different and International foods also. Yooma Can do better in food quality. Room clean service is no Good . They really does not clean that Good . We Stayed for 11 days and I dont think they changed our sheets and pillow covers. Floor and under bed are not Good cleaned.
