One of the best hotel stays I have ever had in many years. The Casa Lola team responded promptly through WhatsApp and arranged transportation for our arrival and early-morning departure. Mauricio was waiting for us when we arrived and immediately began arranging for our room to be prepared. While we waited, he welcomed us with drinks, provided all the information we needed, and gave us a quick tour of the hotel. By the time the tour was finished, our room was ready. We had arrived earlier than the standard check-in time because of our flight schedule, but the team accommodated us without difficulty. To our surprise, they also upgraded us to one of the hotel’s finest suites—the Presidential Suite. Mauricio and the team made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived and exceeded all our expectations. During our stay, Christian, Jason, José, Duber, and the entire team were attentive and regularly checked whether we needed anything. Jason arranged a spa appointment within hours despite the short notice. The hotel has distinctive artwork and décor, a lovely rooftop pool and bar, and an excellent restaurant where we enjoyed dinner with live violin music. The Getsemaní location is perfect for walking to restaurants, attractions, and Cartagena’s Walled City. Everything worked well throughout our stay, and Christian made our early checkout quick and stress-free. Casa Lola delivered an exceptional experience from beginning to end, and we would gladly return.

The property is aging and poorly maintained. Floors appears moldy and dark after many years of no maintenance. The bedroom is very basic, actually too much, lacks modern refresh, no luxury at all. Needs investment and for the price they charge it will be great if they look around at the competition for ideas to improve it. For the price charged and what you get it is too expensive compared to other resorts. Staff can more helpful too, needs tracing. The TVs don’t work and after asking to do something they didn’t care to even try. Bathroom amenities are not existing.

Hotel was dated and although clean the room facilities, particularly the bathrooms, were old and now substandard. In the bathroom there were chipped or broken tiles and the the sink smelt damp from failed seals. The breakfast was also mediocre and not a high standard. Ruben on reception was helpful but another colleague less helpful and not very friendly. Although a good location for exploring La Candelaria, it feels as though the hotel is reliant on its past reputation. The hotel bar was always shut and if the restaurant opened then we were unaware and no information was provided by the staff.

El personal es muy amable, la habitación estaba muy cómoda y limpia, la ubicación dentro de la ciudad amurallada es muy buena. La piscina es amplia y con muy buena ubicación
