The area around the pool wasn't cleared overnight with towels left behind by guests. The toilets by the restaurant wasn't cleaned. However, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the choices of food were amazing. Credit to the kitchen crew for the delicious food. Also, credit to the young intern from Bali. Very cheerful, friendly and a delight to talk to.

The Danna is a small(ish) hotel that trades on its beachfront location and luxurious rooms. We were very happy there during our five night stay. Each of the three restaurants offers decent food and generous portions. The pool area is comfortable, although some maintenance may be required soon. All the staff are lovely. It’s a fine place either to do nothing or to go birdwatching or kayaking. Given the quality of the product the price is more than reasonable. My only criticism is that there needs to be a separate pool area for kids - otherwise the adults who just want to relax will find their day disrupted.

Nice spot, pity about the lack of service around the pool areas, ordered drinks on a number of occasions and it took so long for them to arrive, and on two occasions they were given to other guests! Everything took so long with no real urgency to rectify the problem.

The resort was lovely with a fantastic relaxed vibe and super friendly/efficient staff., set in fantastic surroundings. There was plenty to keep you occupied on site and significant tourist attractions within walking distance (courtesy transport provided also). It had a hint of faded glory but this did not notably distract from its charm or our enjoyment.
