Illin Island Pet-friendly Vacations

This is my second stay/review of the property. My first 3 nights stay, the staff were great, helpful and professional However, my second stay was not as good because when I was calling the front desk/reception nobody was answering the phone it took awhile for some to pick up. I was looking for my belt that I left the first time I checked in. The person who answered the phone said she’ll find out and call me back but she never did. I called the operator instead and spoke to a certain Harley, I think that’s his name and he was the one who was able to help/found the belt I was looking for. The guy from the housekeeping brought it up to my room. I was glad and thankful. However, I/we had the same problem with the room service food we ordered, it was not very good. Again, I’m suggesting for a new Chef.

I had an amazing 40-day stay at City Garden GRAND Hotel, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay here again! The hotel staff were exceptional—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I especially want to mention Awi at the front desk, who was always so helpful, nice, and sweet. She consistently made me feel welcome and was always ready to assist whenever I needed anything. The staff at Firefly Restaurant were also wonderful, especially Mark and Carl. They were both very nice, attentive, and made my dining experiences even more enjoyable. I also want to give a special thank you to Isha from housekeeping. My room was always kept clean and comfortable, and I truly appreciated her hard work and attention to detail. The room itself was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with a really nice bathroom. Another big plus is the hotel's location. There are so many great restaurants in the area, so you have plenty of choices for dining without having to travel far. After staying here for 40 days, I can honestly say that I had a 5-star-plus experience. The friendly staff, spacious and clean room, great location, and overall service made my stay very enjoyable. Thank you, City Garden GRAND Hotel, for making my 40-day stay such a pleasant one. I will definitely be staying here again! ❤️

It is a very nice hotel. It is clean. The breakfast buffet has a good selection.
