It’s a small family hostal/hotel very small for a short period accommodation, very convenient for travelers that mostly are outside enjoying activities and go back for sleep and rest. The staff is lovely a dry dedicated to satisfy the needs

Nice Second time visiting

The area around the pool wasn't cleared overnight with towels left behind by guests. The toilets by the restaurant wasn't cleaned. However, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the choices of food were amazing. Credit to the kitchen crew for the delicious food. Also, credit to the young intern from Bali. Very cheerful, friendly and a delight to talk to.

Our stay at Camar Resort was okay overall, but the property was not as clean as it appeared in the photos on their website. The shower also had a drainage issue — the water did not drain properly and took hours to clear, which made it seem like it may not have been built or maintained properly. On the positive side, the breakfast was okay and the staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with.

The staff is very attentive to all our needs. The spa is best we’ve experienced! Wildlife viewing from our room and restaurants was incredible! This resort is a fantastic adventure, especially for couples.

Brilliant hotel and location. Facilities were immaculate, room was lovely with a beautiful ocean view and roof top adults only pool was excellent. Staff were so friendly and helpful, always had a smile on their faces. We mentioned a birthday at check in and on the day they decorated the bed and provided a cake. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

A perfect location to relax by a pool or beach. Very close to local restaurants, although the two restaurants on site are very good. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The Danna Langkawi is a beautiful resort with an elegant atmosphere and many positive qualities. However, several service issues prevented our stay from meeting the five-star standard we expected. Both check-in and check-out involved considerable waiting and could have been handled much more efficiently. We were also disappointed with the BBQ buffet dinner. The food selection felt limited, and the long queue at the BBQ station made the experience less enjoyable. The biggest disappointment was the spa. The massage quality was below expectations, and during our treatment the two therapists repeatedly talked to each other and even appeared to have a discussion. This significantly affected what should have been a quiet and relaxing experience. Overall, The Danna is a beautiful property with great potential, but these service inconsistencies made our experience closer to three stars than five.

Nice Second time visiting

Wow! What a gorgeous resort. I have never stayed anywhere quite like here. The heritage buildings are absolutely gorgeous and are all original. The way they have renovated these but kept the original feel is lovely. When we arrived the room wasn’t quite like the photo, I think an issue with Hotels.com advert - honestly we thought we had a whole cabin to ourselves but they are rooms within the cabins / buildings. The staff were fantastic and quickly moved us into the room we were expecting. The room had a cosy living room with TV, a nice bedroom and decent bathroom with a cool wooden bath tub. Be warned tho - they are quite rustic but it’s all a part of the lovely charm this hotel offers. One things we loved about this hotel was the pool. Again I’ve not been in one quite like it - it was all made with stone (I think) rather than tiles and looks right onto a gorgeous spa building - so cool! The breakfast and food options were also great and reasonably priced (breakfast was included of course). The location is very close to the airport, and to get around the island my husband and I hired a car which I would highly recommend, just made things so much easier. I would certainly recommend this hotel, walking around looking at all the different buildings was great, and thanks to all the welcoming and helpful staff.
