Central-Leatherstocking Pet-friendly Vacations

We arrived at 5:39 p.m. check in time was listed as four. The front desk worker was extremely rude and and stated that our room was not ready yet. He stated that the room would be ready in about twenty minutes. More than twenty minutes later we went to the room. It was evident that the room had not been cleaned. There was visible dirt on the carpet, dust on the majority of the surfaces, and stains on the furniture. Honestly we weren't even sure that the bedding had been changed. Additionally, the water pressure was abysmal and the hot water barely seemed to work. There seemed to be a strange odor in the room and the lobby and the elevator smelled like urine. Don't waste your money like I did, find a better place to stay in the area.

We loved our stay at the recently renovated Adelphi. We were upgraded to a suite and the bathroom and room were amazing. The prosecco upon arrival was a nice touch. They were all about the details that make you feel welcomed. The valet staff greeted you and got the car around quickly when needed. Items in the mini bar were complimentary and refilled when you used something. You could control all the lights and drapes and shades bedside and from the entry. There were heated towel racks, a heated floor and electronic bidet toilet with a heated seat, plus a huge soaking tub & a huge walk-in shower. The workout room was well-equipped, including a bathroom and sauna. The location was great and within walking distance of lots of shops and dining options, as well as a nice park. We would stay here again.
