Northeast Seattle Pet-friendly Vacations

Generally nice. Definitely feels old school, in the classic sort of way. Wasn’t a fan of the carpeted rooms. But a decent stay.

Beautiful place. We enjoyed our stay with our dog. Amenities were great. Food was delicious.

The two bedroom suite is very spacious. We had a view of space needle and the water on floor 33. Staying again

Overpriced, terrible service, and absolutely ZERO accountability! We paid over $750 for two nights at The State Hotel, and what a complete disappointment! I genuinely cannot believe this place markets itself as an upscale boutique hotel. Our first night, we were kicked out of the hotel restaurant and bar for a private event, and the host was unbelievably rude about it. Apparently, paying hotel guests aren’t much of a priority! No weekend room service either, and the staff overall acted like hospitality was the last thing on their minds. But the real kicker? On our final night, a man behaving erratically and appearing heavily under the influence came running through the lobby stealing alcohol from the bar. He approached us while hotel employees stood there and did NOTHING. Not one person bothered to check on us afterward. Absolutely ridiculous! And when Expedia contacted the hotel about our experience? They refused to offer ANY compensation because we completed our stay. What exactly were we supposed to do when the worst incident happened on our LAST NIGHT?! For $750, I expected a nice hotel, decent customer service, and some basic concern for guest safety. Apparently, that was asking too much. Overpriced, unwelcoming, and completely unwilling to take responsibility when things go wrong. Save yourself the money and frustration. There are plenty of other hotels in Seattle that deserve your business more than this one!

Mixed review - the things I like most about La Quinta are the reasonable price, location and airport shuttle. However we have had 2 miserable stays now and will likely be researching other SeaTac properties. Miserable because our room was so cold. Yes, both times we sought help from staff. They have the strangest heater/cooling system I've ever run across. Turn the thermostat down to make it warmer?? This last stay staff happily came to the room to help, turned down the thermostat and after a bit there was warm air. I asked if it would shut off when the desired temp was reached - no. Within 5 minutes after the staff left it was blowing cold air again. Made those middle of the night trips to the bathroom really cold with the tile floor!
