Best resort for couples, excellent service, customized breakfast options, small paradise

We had a wonderful 9 nights at the Sebali Resort. The food was excellent throughout our stay with great menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spa was also amazing and we had a couple of great full body massages by the experienced team. Srina, you have magic hands!! All the staff are so polite and accommodating, they are well trained and most speak English very well. There were only two things that weren’t great but one was not the fault of the hotel. The adjacent resort, the Kayon, was expanding and renovating. When you headed to either of the restaurants for meals you could see and hear all the machinery and tools being used. It ruined the atmosphere but it became amusing for my husband and I to watch the building practices. We thankfully couldn’t hear any of the construction work from our room, so we had a very peaceful stay and enjoyed listening to the sound of the waterfall as we fell asleep or relaxing by our pool. The only other issue for us was the bed. It was very hard, but Patek from housekeeping did his best to add an extra layer of softness for us. We still had a wonderful time and would return to the property, but would suggest the management invest in some new mattresses and maybe some sun cover by the private pools.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The resort was beautiful. There’s nothing quite like it. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Amazing staff and beautiful place!

Our 2 bedroom villa with private exceeded our expectations along with the welcoming and attentive staff we had a fabulous 8 nights! Just a short walk to shops and restaurants with delivery of anything we wanted makes it a great place to stay! Thank you Melon and co! The massages almost everyday, private Buttler service and the BBQ cooked by private chef at villa was outstanding along with our luxury clean villa we will not stay anywhere else and can’t wait get back to relax again.

My wife and I stayed at The Bale for two weeks in June 2026. I can honestly say it was one of the best vacations we’ve had and its in large part due to our stay at The Bale. As background, my wife and I primarily look for relaxation on our vacations over a plethora of excursions and sightseeing. Bali was beautiful and the excursions were great but this review is solely about our stay at The Bale. As mentioned, our primary goal on vacation is to relax so where we stay is paramount in whether our stay is good or not. If you are looking to relax and be pampered, then The Bale is perfect. There are only 30 or so units and its adult only so it was very tranquil and quiet during our stay. The room we stayed in (One Bedroom Deluxe) was incredible. The room was clean and very well kept. The staff cleaned it daily and provided turn down service at night. The private pool was a terrific addition as I often woke up, hit the gym and came back to the room to shower and hit the gym. Speaking of the shower, the outdoor shower was a huge favorite of my wife and me. The butler service (and service in general) provided was exceptional. The staff provided amenities, room service, arranged excursions for us, arranged transportation throughout Bali and answered ordinary questions all through the app. The staff was very quick to respond to inquiries/requests through the app, which was nice. We had an amazing stay at the Tejaprana Resort and Spa. The place is so beautiful and relaxing, with green, lush plants all over the place. The room is romantic and luxurious with a terrace and private pool overlooking the jungle. The staff is so attentive to every need of yours, and their restaurant offers delicious food. Love every element of our stay. THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️!

This property is in a great location, right by Eat Street with many great food options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is my second time staying here. Since 2018, the area has become much busier, so not as quiet as it used to be. You will hear music from local restaurants and the occasional loud motorcycle driving by. Other than that, it’s a nice place to call home for any length of time.

A really lovely place to stay. I enjoyed 3 nights in the Ethnic Suite and it was fabulous. The staff were wonderful and always offering to help, the food was great and the spa is just the 'icing on the cake!' I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. We loved our stay! The rooms were beautiful. We had our own pool, which was so nice and it was within walking distance to everything that we wanted or needed. We would love to come back!

I recently stayed at this resort, the staff were all extremely friendly and accomodating, shoutout to Demmy the customer experience manager! The buffet breakfast was just as amazing, as were the pools (plural). Everything was tidy, the room was spacious. Would recommend!
