The grounds are beautiful, and the view of the ocean stunning. I loved having a patio with chairs and table to enjoy the outdoors, and the many verandas, outbuildings, etc offer plenty of places to hang out. The breakfast was good too. I'm not sure if we were there in the off season, but some if the buildings felt...tired. The whale watch tower was locked. I would stay here again though, it was nice.

"A wonderful small hotel on the ocean. The Manager Joana is so lovely and ensures you have everything you need for a great stay. This place is a perfect spot to explore the island including to start the historic vineyard walking trail. Highly recommend."

"This was a very unique property. The staff was very nice. It was clean and had a great view. The only slightly negative thing was we expected a balcony but that wasnt a dealbreaker as we only slept there"
