Hotel was very nice. Expected more food varieties. The all inclusive was watered down drinks and limited food options. Also, no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The all inclusive option was a let down.

The resort was great, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The highlight of this place is definitely the pool.. the rooms are just not clean, everything looks super old and it’s not comfortable at all.. I decided to just overlook it all because I was traveling with my kids and didn’t want to start the vacation on a negative note. The staff is amazing, this is just regarding the rooms, and also the elevators break almost everyday, I hope they pay attention to that. The hotel needs a mayor remodel, smells were strong in the bathroom also.

We went for 1 week with my husband and other family members. We loved our stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious at the specialty restaurants; we tried the Argentinian and the Italian, our room was clean and we had fun at the adults only pool. All in all, our stay was very would highly recommend staying at El Cid Castilla Mazatlán. Thanks to all for making our stay a beautiful experience.

Nice hotel with great potential however lack of management. Our room for two days smelled like paint thinner we complained to the front desk and did no effort to change our room, we were told they were fixing a room next to ours, Lifeguards not present, my nephew got injured and almost broke his nose at the water slide due to lack of supervision they did not want to cover the expense to bring him to the hospital. Two occasions we went to the DJ party at the bar and no DJ was present. One night we decided to go to the portovino restaurant and it was closed.. also exposed electrical wires in the bedroom. And the list goes on.. all in all a terrible experience very expensive for what is offered. Will not be going back

I like it everything except one tink the AC in the room not cool on off and the water for take sower come super hot and them super could and this happened all the time when take sower

Staff was Not attentive-especially at Kelly’s bar. Everything was closed by 10pm-

Only comment is that it was hard to get PDF copy of my receipt with all my charges for the stay. The the place is A+ property.

We had mold in our bathroom and no hot water. We reported and they did change our room.
