8.6/10 Excellent! (1,000 reviews)
Our only complaint was there wasn’t ample lighting - also in two of our rooms the outlets were inoperable.
The rooms were very comfortable and spacious though. It’s a quiet area in Venice that we appreciated being in after long days with lots of people. Nice little restaurants close and a water taxi stop that was never busy :)

The hotel is quite old and showing its age. The breakfast and restaurant menus were expensive and not very appealing. Out of all the hotels I stayed at in Italy, this was my least favorite. There was no warm and welcoming feeling.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (543 reviews)
Pros: Ideal location, building is stunning in a historically luxurious way, bathroom was huge and water pressure was superb.
Cons: Room did not match any photos online when booking and was slightly disappointing compared to the photos of the example rooms. Carpeted rooms. Library and terrace bar were not open as incentivized.
