North Shore Mountain Vacations

It has beautiful views and is a nice place. The pool is amazing. The only issues were that it didn’t accommodate five people as easily as I would have liked. Towels and bedding were limited. The pull out wasn’t comfortable. My daughter ended up sleeping on the couch. We made due and it didn’t inconvenience us. I read in a review that the soap is watered down and they are right. It would be nice to have actual soap at all the sinks. The outdoor furniture needs upgraded. All of this is easily fixed and didn’t negatively impact our stay.

The review I wish I had read as a young family traveling with a 2.5 year old- The pictures and descriptions advertising this place are deceptive. Traveled here mid-July 2026. The property was brown-every space that had grass was brown and crispy. Maybe drought, but it made walking around barefoot on it uncomfortable and it just gave the whole vibe of unkempt property. I didn’t golf, but outside the greens, the entirety of the course also looked dead. Our ocean view room looked like it was recently updated and we appreciated the boho vibes. Unfortunately our ocean view was more of a tennis court view…again deceptive pictures and phrasing in descriptions. Our soaker tub also leaked and was never followed up on when we reported it to management. The bed frame also creaked like it was broken every time you dared to shift your weight the tiniest bit. The restaurants had decent options for adults & our young son. We didn’t eat a bad meal, but for ~$50 per person for lunch/dinner, it better be good, right? The pool had chipped tile and the water was filled with stinging insects. We left within 5 minutes of getting in, as the water also smelled stagnant & gross. The property is advertised as being family friendly, but I’d disagree. There are vast distances between the rooms and the amenities. The property is made up of pothole filled streets, cracked sidewalks, & jagged edged steps throughout. Our son fell often. The soccer & basketball were deflated & falling apart. Skip this one.

Breakfast

Was very disappointed with our stay, the beach was unusable because of the seaweed. The seaweed was about 3 feet deep. They advertised 5 restaurants there were two, a Buffett and a tiki bar that served bar food. You could not do any of the water sport amenities because you couldn’t use the beach. Very disappointing trip.

This is it! The room is fantastic! If you love a great oceanic view with the soothing sounds of the ocean crashing against the rocks. This is it! The location is a bit secluded from the local towns buttt still within 20/30 min reach and believe me if you’re going for the views, there’s no need to leave the area. Great restaurant (AMA) on property and a few local spots a short walk away. Literally a 4 minute walk from the beach (Cane Bay). If you’re double minded… just pick this one.
