Great hotel in the perfect location

Fabulous hotel in the heart of Vancouver. Booked 7 months prior to stay and had a 20th floor, private balcony room overlooking the Harbor. Within the hotel is Karma Lounge (lunch/dinner/partying) and Mot32. Dinner at Karma was a 6/10. Breakfast at Mot32 was a buffet disaster! $40CAD per person for garbage. Food was horrible at Mot. Ultimately was credited for this after registering my dissatisfaction. Outside of the hotel on streets was relatively peaceful & clean. Disgusting marijuana smoke everywhere, all the time! Highly recommend the hotel if you can afford >$900/night US.

This hotel was very clean, modern and comfy (5 stars on the pillows and soft fluffy robes!!)the location was terrific too. My only complaint was lightening in the bathrooms. This 60 something woman could use better lighting in that area!

The staff was amazing. It was our anniversary and they made it so special for us. We will definitely be back. Unfortunately it seems like there has been some changes. Not as many dining options as when they first opened and some of the remote options weren’t available or didn’t seem to work. But overall great stay!

The lobby and reception areas are very dark and kind of depressing.

Great hotel in the perfect location

Seems like it would have been a nice place when it first opened, but there were a ton of issues with the room. Doors that don’t close properly, missing cupboard handles, duct tape on the floor, shoddy construction work all around which is really starting to show. The coffee was also a major disappointment. They have good beans on offer from a local roaster, but the supplies to make the coffee (coffee maker and pour-over set) aren’t up to the task. The coffee maker especially was nearly impossible to figure out and constantly came out watery and bitter. On the plus side, communication with the staff was alright, in-suite laundry was a nice touch, and the gym was well equipped enough for a short stay. I would recommend staying somewhere else in the area given the price.

This is someone’s home so you are staying in a bed room either with a private bath or shared bath. They have one cute cat that is quiet. The hosts are teachers and are extremely nice and helpful! I took the bus and train there from the airport with my luggage and then took bus train and then bus to everywhere. It’s only $3.50 to take public transportation including transfers within 90 minutes. The house is close to all bus stops, within 5 to 15 minutes of walking. This is a very nice and quiet neighborhood with huge houses. I slept very well at night because the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet and peaceful! It is also a lot cheaper than hotels.
