My wife collapsed (I suspect as a result of dehydration) just after we had checked out at reception. The duty manager was there in a flash and my wife’s collapse had been observed by one of the ladies at reception, who immediately called 911. The staff were very helpful. They even arranged for my wife and I to return to the room we had just checked out of so my wife could lay down and recover after the paramedics had finished with her. Very impressed with their level of concern. Highly recommend The Wayfinder as a place to stay in Waikiki.

Excellent location. Pools can be a bit bigger. Staff are great. Area is expensive but you can find bargains if you look hard enough. Nice sunsets

We always stay at the Hyatt centric when we visit Oahu because of its location. It is very central to restaurants and shops and the beach. Room and bathroom are spacious, but they need a little updating especially the carpet. There pool is shallow and always quite windy there. We always go to the beach instead. Overall, we love staying at the Centric. We take our family and now the grandkids too!

The cleaning staff was absolutely amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They were so nice and always ready with anything you needed. They went above and beyond for us on our honeymoon. The room was very nice, a bit noisy on the beach side at night especially on the weekend. I had to sleep with my headphones on. The pool floor on the beach tower has a musty smell from the wet carpets. I felt awful for people who had to stay on that floor. If you get longboard club or equivalent, make sure to bring it up when you check in. We found multiple people were not given access even though they paid for it with their booking, including ourselves. So we missed out on using it our first day.

What a little gem! Our balcony looks right at the fireworks on Friday night, the infinity pool and service was excellent. My husband and I both agreed they make you feel like you are home. The concierge, Anton, I believe his name was, helped us book tours around the bad weather, giving great advice. It’s within walking distance of everything.
