(1,003 reviews) This has been my second stay at Marco Polo it was an excellent experience from check-in being smooth and easy to the politeness of the staff and their willingness to help you with any issues or questions to the cleanliness of the entire hotel including the property outside the outdoor dining was very enjoyable to the pool staff having fresh towels for you and a nice outdoor shower to rinse off with great food options we had the Italian cuisine on the poolside patio in our swimsuits and flip flops great spaghetti bolognese the Ruben sandwich with extra dressing was superb and even the seafood pizza was excellent and the breakfast buffet is second to none great food with lots of options from bread and rolls to waffles and pancakes to about 12 main dishes to making you eggs anyway you want them I went with the ham and cheese omelet to fresh made bowls of ramen or rice noodle soup fresh juice drinks and coffee to the fresh fruits for dessert I would stay here everyday of the year if I could Reviewed on Dec 22, 2025 ![Matinloc Island Resort](https://images.trvl-media.com/lodging/13000000/12880000/12878000/12877914/20ae268e_y.jpg?impolicy=fcrop&w=900&h=506&q=mediumHigh) ### Matinloc Island Resort CA $1,495 per person Jan 31 - Feb 4 found 1 day ago Roundtrip flight included Manila (MNL) to Puerto Princesa (PPS) 8.6/10 Excellent! (280 reviews) The location was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival to get upgraded to a Sea/Mountain view villa, and the accommodations were very nice! This definitely enhanced our 7-day stay. Housekeeping were on top of things, and kept our room clean and tidy. Had one small issue with the hot water disappearing one day, but as soon as we notified staff they were on it and fixed it immediately. The only area in which our experience would have been enhanced is an expansion of the menu. All of the Filipino dishes were very good, but the menu was somewhat limited, particularly for breakfast. If your stay is only a couple of days this likely won’t be an issue, but for a week a bit more variety would be nice. However, this was not enough to take my rating down to a 4\. There are too many other great things that make the Matinloc Island Resort well worth visiting. We would definitely return for a second visit. Will try to post a few pics if I can once posted to Expedia. Words alone don’t do the place justice. (253 reviews) Daluyon is a beautiful beachfront resort, I love that they have kayaking and paddleboarding available for guests which we enjoyed . The breakfast is inclusive and it was delicious, service was warm and exceptional. We enjoyed our dinner at the beach and the strawberry mojito was delicious. Booking our tours was very efficient and easy, front desk is very attentive. Laundry service is also available so we did not have to pack wet clothes. The Filipino massage was very good and just what I needed to ease some tensed muscles. Daluyon is a beautiful beachfront resort with exceptional service and staff. It’s also located very close to the world famous Underground River, sadly our tour was cancelled due to some bad weather, I guess this gives us some good reason to come back, thank you Daluyon staff for such wonderful service!
