Great hotel in an excellent location, but could have been made much better for just a few simple things. The 'well being' facilities are less than impressive, the steam room didn't work, the lockers were faulty and no soap or shampoo in the showers. That leaves you with a very small pool and a dry sauna, which is just like being in a machine plant room on a hot day, perhaps with a better view! We didn't manage to find bar open at any point, and given the lovely location by the river, some outdoor seating would have made this perfect, however the door to the riverside is exit only. Still, we really enjoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was just a shame that some really easy fixes could have made it 5*

Wonderful star at Rotterdam Marriott Hotel; it gave us the opportunité to visit the attractions of Rotterdam!

We enjoyed this stay. Location was perfect to take a cruise. It was all very walkable into Rotterdam. Breakfast was plenty to choose from. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, attracted by the great location. The lobby space is nice and the member of staff I spoke to seemed pleasant when I first checked in. Unfortunately I ended up having a bad experience. I woke from my first night of sleep on a few occasions with an itchy rash on my hand, and did not think too much about it at the time.. That was until later in the day when I began to notice more rashes. My. EdI was out from 8am - 1pm and had hoped that the house keeping would provide new bedding and towels. I left the card on the door as instructed but unfortunately nothing was replaced. My second night was much worse. I woke up many times and as I type this I have rashes all over my hands, arms and even a few on my neck. I very rarely complain or write negative reviews. I hoped to raise the issues with a member of staff when checking out this morning but was unable to as there was nobody available and I had a train to catch. I’m unsure if there is a cleanliness problem but I was disappointed with my stay. I found the size of the room to be slightly small, particularly the bathroom, where there was little space to shower.

Nice location which allows you to walk into the centre of Dusseldorf via the river promenade. Well located within the Mediahafen which has plenty of restaurants and bars to keep you busy. The room was spacious, clean and modern. Car parking also available under the hotel.
