Fripp Island Luxury Vacations

When we checked in we were told this would be the only place we'd want to stay when we visit Savannah. They were correct. This is an amazing hotel. We opted for the 1 bedroom apartment and loved every minute of it. It was cozy and welcoming. Very clean and organized. The hotel is within walking distance of everything you want to do in Savannah. We parked our vehicle upon check-in and didn't move the vehicle until we left. Our next Savannah trip will most definitely include The Ann!

This was my second time at the property. The first time I stayed the staff was extremely helpful and the bathroom was clean. Loved the tile design. Three weeks later, different room. The bathroom had that brown mildew in the shower and around the plastic of the door. Gross. Maybe a different cleaning person for that room. Either way, won’t be going back. On to try the rest of Charleston hotels. Hopefully they clean their bathrooms better.

I would improve breakfast options.

Bar in lobby was very expensive for having limited wine selection. $24 for glass of low grade wine is ridiculous.

Loved our stay. Spacious, prime location that was fairly quiet yet walking distance to everything we wanted to do in historic district and river street, beautiful view of the water. The space was well maintained and it was clean, there was just molding food the previous guests must have stashed in a cabinet and left behind. Not really the housekeeping staffs fault, no reason for anyone to leave trash in a cabinet. We would absolutely stay again we loved the beautiful quiet walks along the river in the mornings and the high ceilings.

Godley Manor (room 301) was a great place to stay in Savannah. Beth made sure our stay was refreshing, relaxing, and memorable. Although our mattress was firmer than we are used to, it didn’t take away from our memorable stay. We loved the grand entrance, the woodworking’s, the 14ft ceilings, the history behind the home, and its overall elegance. Never partook in the continental breakfast, but did enjoy the complimentary coffee and porch rocking chairs to get the day started. If you’re planning a trip to Savannah for sight seeing, walks, artistry, etc., you’d be hard pressed to find a better atmosphere than Godley Manor to enjoy your stay.
