Croatian Coast Kid friendly Vacations

Beautiful resort with fabulous views of the sea and gorgeous grounds. Rooms are very spacious and have very cool designs. With that being said , unfortunately property suffers from staffing issues. From what I underestood resort uses many seasonal workers for temporary assignments from all over the world. Many of them don’t have any sort of attachment to the area and their heart is not in the work they do and this is very obvious. Tbey rarely ever smile and honestly when you ask something, it feels like you are a burden and nuisance. Although resort is considered luxury resort, employees don’t have a luxury resort etiquette. I had an incident during check out that we were standing in line for our turn. When our turn came up, this employee (Zeldjan) began to shout in Croatian to the person who was behind me in line!!! It was unbelievable and very unprofessional behavior. As I was talking to him about our bill, he interrupted me several time to speak to this person for whatever reason. Eventually I had to slam my hand in the counter and told him to please show some respect . Other than that resort was great. There are plenty of restaurants on site and food quality in my opinion was average. Be careful with breakfast buffet as I noted some items( like cold cuts and cheese) were used several days in row and became stale and tasted odd. Also there is vista restaurant which offers Mexican style food and for Americans I advise you to stay away from as it didn’t taste mexican at all.

The room is clean and breakfast had a lot of choices. The staff was helpful.

As we stayed 3 days, more choices for breakfast would of been nice. Please make certain to order coffee and not just assume they only offer drip coffee. They suggested a day trip to Trogir but should of mentioned that the beach is not accessible and that 2 hours is enough to explore

The property is located in an awesome place close to the Old Town and close to a nice beach and restaurant area

The apartment was very nice. Great location just inside the wall. Everything was excellent except the check in. Somehow our reservation wasn’t known to the apartment owner. At first, they wouldn’t accept our call. Fortunately, a very nice local asked if we were having trouble getting in. We explained the situation and she called another person that works for the property. They came and explained how we didn’t have a reservation but there was an open room. We got everything situated after about an hour. We got our room as booked. Unfortunately, that first hour really spoiled what was otherwise a very nice stay.

Fantastic location with easy access for swimming. A little confusing to get around the various buildings and levels, but is well marked. Excellent breakfast choices, dinner on the seaside patio was very good. Not close to Old Town, but there is a city bus or taxi to get there (10-15 min)
